Earlier today, Siemens Energy Global GMBH & Co KG (‘Siemens Energy’) have completed the acquisition of RWG (Repair & Overhauls) Ltd (‘RWG’), which includes RWG (Repair & Overhauls) USA, Inc and RWG’s share in RWO, Malaysia.
The Siemens Energy organisation is a global leader in energy technology, located in 90 countries with 100,000 employees, and it operates across conventional and renewable power, grid technology and storage, and the electrification of industrial processes.
While RWG will remain an independent brand, it will be incorporated into Siemens Energy’s ‘Aeroderivative Gas Turbines (AGT)’ product line which manufactures, installs and maintains a number of heavy-duty, industrial, and aeroderivative gas turbines used in specific markets including power plants and oil and gas.
This new chapter represents a pivotal moment in our company’s 35 year journey.
