RWG Secures NADCAP Approval for Specialist Processes

The National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) has awarded RWG with accreditation for specialist processes including fusion welding and heat treating.

First launched in 1990, Nadcap is an industry-managed approach to conformity and assessment of specialist processes, bringing together technical experts from industry and government regulators to agree standards, accredit suppliers and define operational programme requirements. Nadcap accreditation brings significant benefits to both suppliers and customers through setting of common standards, efficient and effective auditing, as well as enhancing product and service quality throughout the value chain.

”We’re delighted to achieve Nadcap accreditation for specialist processes,” commented Alistair Fordyce, RWG’s Engineering Services Director. ”Nadcap assessors are truely experts in their field, able to conduct a detailed and stringent audit of RWG’s business systems and operational processes. Receiving this accreditation demonstrates  RWG’s long-term commitment to quality, as well as providing assurance to customers who depend on the services we deliver.”

”RWG services ensure the reliability of mission critical equipment used in the oil & gas, power generation, marine and aerospace sectors. To provide the standard of performance demanded by our customers, RWG has developed a process driven culture, delivering high levels of repeatability throughout the repair and overhaul cycle. Securing Nadcap accreditation reinforces RWG’s strong reputation for product and service quality, as well as opening up opportunities for new services beyond our traditional markets.” stated Mark Forsyth, RWG’s Industrial & Marine Business Director.

“Nadcap accreditation is universally acknowledged as a significant undertaking. Validating compliance to industry standards, best practices and customer requirements, Nadcap has long been incorporated by the aerospace industry into their risk mitigation activity. Congratulations are therefore due to RWG, as their hard work has resulted in achieving Nadcap accreditation for specialist fusion welding and heat treatment processes,” commented Michael J. Hayward, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Performance Review Institute.
