ETN Global’s SGT-A35 User Community Hosted by RWG

ETN Global held their sixth Siemens Energy SGT-A35 User Group Meeting last week in Aberdeen, Scotland. The conference promotes a closer relationship between the SGT-A35 User community, the equipment manufacturer and supply chain partners. The mechanism for this is focused technical discussion on the topics of highest importance to the user community and presentation of the latest technical developments relating to operation and maintenance of this equipment.

This well attended conference attracted operators from Europe, the Americas and Asia. As a sponsor, RWG engaged directly with the user community, providing an overview on strategic investments made to enhance efficiency of inspection processes, as well as new repair techniques to maximise recovery of unserviceable components.

On the final day of this event, conference delegates attended an open evening at RWG’s SGT-A35 overhaul facility in Dyce, Aberdeen, observing first-hand all aspects of the gas generator overhaul process, including RWG’s in-house Advanced Remanufacturing Business (ARB).  ARB’s unique capabilities serve to enhance yield rates from the repair process, reducing demand for high-cost replacement parts and lowering lifecycle cost for operators of the SGT-A35 gas generator.
