A vacancy has arisen within the RB211 Project for a Materials Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will be based at Kirkhill, Dyce and will report directly to the Stores Supervisor. The primary function of the role is to ensure that all Stores and Kitting functions are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of a Stores / Kitting environment, good working knowledge of VISaer and Company material transfer procedures. Shift work will be required for this position.

Job Description

  • To carry out all RB211 Stores / Kitting duties
  • To ensure engine material received in the kitting store is correctly identified and stored in line with company guidelines
  • To prepare material for shipment to sub-contractors
  • Receive parts from suppliers and sub-contractors and ensure they are identified and stored correctly
  • Receipt parts from Siemens into inventory
  • To conduct the VISaer transactions associated with the kitting of new and serviceable material
  • To administer / oversee the storage of workshop consumable items and to highlight replenish requirements
  • Undertake cyclic stock counts
  • To maintain in good order and with an accurate inventory all items consigned to projects “Reject”, “Customer Bond” and “Quarantine” stores
  • Receipt non-inventory parts into Oracle

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in a Stores / Kitting role would be advantageous but not essential
  • Working knowledge of VISaer would be advantageous but not essential
    An understanding of company material transfer procedures would be advantageous but not essential
  • Driving licence is essential
  • Forklift / reach truck experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work well within a team environment
